A LLANDYSUL driver has been fined and his licence endorsed for speeding outside a school.
Michael Owens, of Pontsian, Llandysul, pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court to driving a Mercedes at 26mph in a 20mph zone outside Ysgol Gymunedol Cae’r Felin, Pencader, on the afternoon of March 18 last year.
A charge of failing to reveal the identity of the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been guilty of an offence was withdrawn.
The 55-year-old was fined £146, along with £85 prosecution costs and a £32 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
