A CARDIGAN driver caught speeding at Aberystwyth must pay £574 in a fine and costs as well as having his licence endorsed,
Anthony Lance Morris, of Greenfield Row, Cardigan, found the case again him proved under the single justice procedure in his absence at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
The bench heard Morris was clocked driving a Mercedes at 42mph in a 30mph zone at First Avenue, Penparcau, Aberystwyth, on the night of August 15.
The 32-year-old was fined £440, along with prosecution costs of £90 and a £44 victim surcharge. His driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points.
