A STORAGE area is needed for Cardigan’s Christmas lights.
The lights are due to come down later this month – Covid-19 restrictions permitting – and the town council wants somewhere to keep them, preferably with a workshop area and lighting so work can be carried out on them as and when necessary.
Town councillors agreed to ask the town’s foodbank if they have a suitable area in the former Co-op building in town or that if anyone had anywhere to contact the town clerk via email at cyngor@trefaberteifi.co.uk or call 01239 621527.
Town mayor Cllr Clive Davies said this year’s lights had received many favourable comments and thanked Cllrs Richard Jones, Sian Maehrlein, Yvonne O ‘Neill and members of the Carnival Committee for volunteering with the install and all their hard work.
