PLANS to upgrade the King George V children’s play area in Cardigan have received a welcome cash boost.
Cardigan Town Council has been awarded an additional grant of £7,629 following a successful application to Ceredigion County Council.
The town council has £15,000 allocated from its budget for a major revamp of the play equipment, with Adventure Playground Wales chosen to carry out the work following a tendering process.
Work will be carried out as soon as possible, Covid-19 restrictions permitting.
