WORK has been carried out to repair storm damage to the area around the spit at the mouth of the River Teifi.
Much off the spit at Patch has been washed away in recent months and urgent work was needed to prevent a breach in the defences surrounding the pontoon.
“There has been massive erosion in the area and we have lost about 20ft of marram grass dunes.
“We have had to scrape some of the material back to reinforce the defences, all with the approval of Natural Resources Wales,” said Afon Teifi Fairways’ Jim Marsden.
