A CARDIGAN man found guilty of assault must serve a community order and pay compensation to his victim.
Daniel Jack De-Ath, of Queens Terrace, Cardigan, denied assaulting another man jointly with Gary Thomas Ramshaw, in the town on May 6, 2018 causing actual bodily harm.
He admitted a second charge of criminal damage, where 20 wine glasses were smashed.
De-Ath appeared at Aberystwyth Justice Centre, where he was found guilty of the assault.
Magistrates imposed a community order on the 26-year-old requiring him to carry out 150 hours unpaid work in the next 12 months.
De-Ath was also ordered to pay £100 in compensation to the assault victim, along with prosecution costs of £620 and an £85 victim surcharge.
Ramshaw had pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm and theft charges at an earlier hearing.
