NEW Quay inshore lifeboat crew carried out back-to-back rescues today (Tuesday, August 11) .
Then lifeboat was initially launched at 11.45am to help a small fishing boat with a fouled propeller.
Having freed the rope from the propeller, and while on the way back to the station, the crew spotted two people and a dog climbing across rocks, having been cut off by the tide. They were taken aboard and brought safely back to the lifeboat slipway.
