A PENCADER man has been remanded on bail after pleading not guilty to assault and criminal damage.
Robert Anthony Smith, aged 29, has denied assaulting a woman by beating at Llanarth on March 29 and also of damaging a bathroom door and garden ornaments on the same day.
Magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre granted Smith conditional bail with a curfew between 7pm and 6am, which will be electronically monitored. He is due before the court on July 28 to stand trial.
