THE childcare hub set up in Cardigan for the children of essential workers during the coronavirus pandemic has been closed for two days.
The hub was shut on Friday (June 5) and children sent home and an email was sent to parents telling them the centre would be closed today (Monday, June 6).
A spokesperson for Ceredigion County Council said: “The hub was closed as a result of a contact tracing exercise and was a cautious approach to the safeguarding of public health.
“A second test was negative and the deep clean today (Monday, June 8) is a precautionary measure.”
