BACK in November 2019 Cardigan hosted the very first edition of Other Voices Cardigan, Ireland’s internationally acclaimed music festival.

Now there’s a chance to re-live some of the incredible performances from that weekend in three television programmes, due to air on S4C on January 2, 9 and 16 at 9.30pm.

The programmes will be broadcast through the medium of Welsh with English subtitles.

This year’s headliners included Gruff Rhys, Lucy Rose, Gwenno, Lankum, Boy Azooga, Carwyn Ellis, Celeste, 9Bach and Hayden Thorpe.

The festival is known for attracting not only internationally known musicians and bands, but for also championing up-and-coming acts.

Rising star Celeste, who gave an incredible performance at St Mary’s Church on the Saturday evening, has since been awarded BBC Music Introducing Artist of the Year 2019.
