A PENCADER motorist clocked at more than 100mph has escaped a driving ban.
David Peter Lewis, of Maescader, Pencader, had earlier pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure to driving a Vauxhall Insignia at 107mph on the A48 at Pensarn, Carmarthenshire, on July 29.
The 41-year-old appeared before magistrates at Llanelli, where he was fined £340, with costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £32. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
