A WOMAN who failed to tell police the identity of a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence is facing a fine and costs of more than £800.
Diane Metcalfe, of Poulton Road, Morecambe, found the case against her proved under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
The 30-year-old was fined £660, with £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge. A charge of speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone on the B4332 at Boncath on July 5 was withdrawn.
