A LLANDYSUL driver has been banned from the roads for three years and given a community order.
Thomas Robert James Bluett, of Coedybryn, Llandysul, had pleaded not guilty to a charge of failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis without reasonable excuse at Aberystwyth Police Station on July 27.
He was found guilty when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre, who as well as imposing a 36-month driving ban, also ordered Bluett to undergo a community rehabilitation order up to a maximum of 15 days, as well as 200 hours unpaid community work in the next 12 months.
The 28-year-old was also told to pay prosecution costs of £630 and a £90 victim surcharge.
