A PICK-UP driver who was clocked towing a trailer at 79mph near Llandysul has been fined £1,000.
Andrew Speck, of Pipers Lane, Heswall, Wirral, Cheshire, was driving an Isuzu D-Max and trailer on the A486 at Post Bach, Llandysul, on August 29, when he was caught exceeding the 50mph limit.
The 57-year-old pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court, where he was also ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £100 victim surcharge.
Speck’s licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
