A LLECHRYD motorcyclist was clocked at more than double the speed limit in a 30mph zone.
Marcus John Heighton, of Maes y Deri, Llechryd, was riding a Honda CBR600 on the B4336 at Llanfihangel Ar Arth, Llandysul on April 21 when he was recorded at 68mph in a 30mph area.
Thirty-one-year-old Heighton pleaded guilty to speeding at an earlier date under the single justice procedure but was brought before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre for sentencing.
Heighton was fined £320 and had his driving licence endorsed with six penalty points. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
