KT TUNSTALL turned in a stunning performance as she rocked Cardigan Castle on Saturday night
The internationally-acclaimed singer-songwriter played to a sell-out crowd of around 1,500 people in what was the biggest gig to date to be staged jointly between the castle and Theatr Mwldan.
And Tunstall certainly delivered, with one fan saying: “It was brilliant. Not only was the music she played great but the stories she told and the way she interacted with the crowd all served to make it a fabulous night out.”
Dilwyn Davies, chief executive of Theatr Mwldan, said: “We aim to welcome some of the finest music artists in the world to Aberteifi and we’re delighted that the public response to this initiative is so enthusiastic.
“We really want to add to the regeneration of the town and our community and join in celebrating the very many success stories Cardigan is now generating.
Cardigan castle director Jac Davies said: “It’s a real coup for the whole town and it shows the ambition and appetite we have to make the castle central to attracting people to the area.
“It’s amazing to think that KT has performed all over the world in places such as New York, Paris and London and now we can add Cardigan to that list.”
