A MAN who committed a string of offences in Cardigan must serve a community rehabilitation order and pay compensation.
Steven David Whitfield, now of Corporation Street, Aberystwyth, pleaded guilty to dishonestly using electricity to the value of £117.56 in Cardigan between July 1 2017 and November 18 2018.
The 45-year-old also admitted possessing 0.13 grams of clonazolam, a Class C drug, in Cardigan on November 12, 2018 and to stealing a bottle of vodka valued at £14.19 from the town’s Aldi supermarket on November 15, 2018.
Whitfield also pleaded guilty to criminal damage when he smashed a window at Williams Row on February 19.
Magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre imposed a community rehabilitation order on Whitfield, requiring him to complete up to 20 days’ activities required by the supervising officer.
Whitfield must pay compensation totalling £181.75, along with a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85.
