AN Aberporth man has been fined and ordered to pay compensation after admitting a charge of threatening behaviour.
Ian Mark Roberts, of Brynglas, Aberporth, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to a woman at Penrhiwllan, Llandysul, on March 25.
Magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre fined the 48-year-old £120 and ordered him to pay £50 compensation.
Roberts also admitted driving without due care and attention on the A475 at Penrhiwllan on the same date and was fined a further £80, along with five penalty points on his licence. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
