AN Aberporth woman has appeared in court to deny being in charge of a vehicle in Cardigan while exceeding the prescribed alcohol level.
Catrin Medi Lewis, aged 26, of Cae Dolwen, Aberporth is alleged to have been in charge of a Toyota Aygo at Quay Street car park, Cardigan on April 28, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in her breath of 90 milligrammes per 100 millilitres exceeded the prescribed limit of 35 milligrammes.
Lewis pleaded not guilty at Aberystwyth Justice Centre and magistrates remanded her on unconditional bail until a trial on July 25.
