A LLANDYSUL man has been remanded on unconditional bail after pleading not guilty to drug-driving.
David Lloyd Reeves, of Parc Puw, Velindre, Llandysul, was stopped while driving a Transit van on Sycamore Street in Newcastle Emlyn on January 5. It is alleged he tested positive for both cocaine and cannabis.
The 57-year-old denied both charges when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre. He was granted unconditional bail to reappear before the court on July 4 for a trial.
Reeves pleaded guilty to possession of 1.9 grammes of cannabis resin, a Class B drug, and 0.137 grammes of diamorphine, a Class A drug, on the same date. Sentence on these offences was adjourned until July 4.
