SPEED checks have again been carried out at Ysgol Cilgerran in a bid to slow down motorists.
Officers from Cardigan’s Neighbourhood Policing Team stopped three vehicles for excess speed outside the school yesterday (Wednesday, May 1) in the 20mph zone.
Excuses included “I didn’t know it was a 20mph zone” and “I’m in a rush for work”.
It is the second time in recent weeks that such checks have been carried out at the school in response to community concerns about speeding drivers. Similar checks were also then carried out at Ysgol Gynradd Aberporth.
