A St Dogmaels man has been charged with assaulting a police officer
A ST Dogmaels man is to stand trial at crown court accused of assaulting a police officer.
Benjamin Smith, of Feidr Fawr, St Dogmaels, appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre where he pleaded not guilty to assaulting the officer in St Dogmaels on Boxing Day last year.
He also denied a further charge of obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty.
The 34-year-old was remanded on unconditional bail to appear at Swansea crown court on May 10 or such other date as the court directs.
