A CARDIGAN man has been handed a six-month conditional discharge for possessing drugs.
Aled Swanick, of Rhos-y-Dre, was found with 0.5 grammes of herbal cannabis in the town on February 16.
The 22-year-old pleaded guilty when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre, where as well as the conditional discharge, he was also told to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
The cannabis and a grinder were ordered to be destroyed.
