TWO Crymych men have been fined for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.

Mark Allen, aged 31, and Brian Warren Kerley, aged 26, both of Clos y Helyg, pleaded guilty to the offence which took place in Crymych on August 12 last year when they appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.

Allen was fined £100, while Curley was fined £140. Both men were also ordered to each pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Both men had pleaded not guilty to using racially or religiously aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on the same date. That charge was discontinued.
