A DRUG-driver who was caught by police at Cardigan has been banned from the roads for 12 months.
Daniel Wyn Davies, of Heol Gwyddalis, Dihewyd, Lampeter, was stopped while driving an Audi A3 on the A487 on Boxing Day last year.
Tests showed the level of benzoylecgonine - produced by the metabolism of cocaine - in his system was four times the legal limit at 200 microgrammes per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 microgrammes per litre of blood.
The 27-year old pleaded guilty to drug-driving when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
As well as a 12-month driving ban, Davies was also fined £460, along with £85 costs and a £46 victim surcharge.
