DYFED Drug and Alcohol Service will again visit Newcastle Emlyn as part of a drive to tackle problems with drugs in the town.
The organisation visited the town last month to offer advice and support but because of a problem with its recovery bus, was only able to offer a limited service.
PCSO Jeff Kedward told a meeting of the town council that the service was now set to return again on the weekend of the Food Festival.
Newcastle Emlyn mayor Cllr Cefin Evans said: “There is a lot of education we can do regarding drugs.
“It is a serious problem and the entire community has to be vigilant. It is vital people act on this and report anything they see. It is something we don’t want in the town.”
