A CEREDIGION motorist who failed to clear his frozen windscreen looks set to pay a hefty cost.
The driver was stopped by officers from Ceredigion Roads Policing Unit on Thursday night (January 3) for having a frozen screen from which he could not see out. It then turned out the car had also not been taxed for seven months.
The car was seized and the driver faces fees and towage charges, as well as been reported to appear in court.
Another driver was stopped for having tinted windows that were too dark to see out from and faces a court appearance, while a moped rider had no āLā plates, CBT certificate or insurance.
The moped was seized and the rider reported o court, along with the moped owner who was reported for permitting someone else to drive it without insurance.
