A FAMILIAR reassuring face to many in the Cardigan area has been recognised in the New Year Honours List.
Jennifer Ann Ladd, an emergency nurse practitioner at the Minor Injury Unit at Cardigan Hospital until her retirement earlier this year, has been honoured for services to Ceredigion and Hywel Dda University Health Board.
The nurse, from Llangoedmor, has been awarded the British Empire Medal, after working at the hospital for more than 20 years.
