THIS winter Simon Callow will reprise his role in the one-man theatrical extravaganza A Christmas Carol and you can see it broadcast at Cardigan’s Theatre Mwldan on Tuesday, December 11 (7.30pm).
Following critically acclaimed, sold-out theatre seasons in 2011, 2012 and again in 2016, Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Shakespeare in Love) returns to wow audiences at the Arts Theatre in London with this tour de force performance, reimagined especially for cinema.
Based on Charles Dickens’s own performance adaptation, director Tom Cairns has created a beautiful piece of festive storytelling. This production is both heart-warming and deeply moving - a Christmas must see!
It sees legendary performer Callow take on the role of Dickens and explore the tale of Ebeneezer Scrooge.
“Beautiful and magical,” writes The Telegraph while The Guardian describes the performance “as rich as figgy pud.”
“Toe-wrigglingly delightful,” says The Stage.
Tickets for the one-off showing of A Christmas Carol are £12.50 (£11.50) and are available now from Theatr Mwldan’s box office on 01239 621200, online at www.mwldan.co.uk or via the Mwldan app.
