A YELLOW alert weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for the Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn area this morning (Wednesday December 5).
The Met Officer warning extends across parts of south Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire until noon, with the possibility of flooding.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Bands of heavy rain are expected to cross Wales on Wednesday, with the south and southwest perhaps seeing the heaviest rain later in the morning. A total of 30 to 50mm could fall in some hilly locations.
“Spray and flooding on roads will probably making journey times longer while bus and train services may also be affected by delays.
“Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible.”
