A DISQUALIFIED drink-driver who was almost three times the legal limit when stopped in Cardigan has been banned from the roads for more than four years and must serve a community order.
Graham Emlyn Jones, of Lansbury Road, Brynmawr, Ebbw Vale, was stopped by police while driving a Peugeot 307 at Gwbert Road, Cardigan, on November 17. He had 101 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
Jones also admitted a charge of driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
He was banned from driving for 52 months and must also serve a community order which includes taking part in an accredited rehabilitation programme for 20 days and 100 hours unpaid community work in the next 12 months.
Jones was also ordered to pay £85 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
