A CEREDIGION man must pay more than £400 in fines and costs after admitting a string of drugs possession charges.
James Alexander Burgess, of Aeron Dale, Ciliau Aeron, was caught with 1.24 grams of cannabis, 1.68 grams of ketamine and 0.068 grams of cocaine on the B4338 at Synod on June 16.
The 29-year-old pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing drugs and was fined a total of £300 when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
Burgess was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £30 victim surcharge and the drugs were ordered to be destroyed.
