A Cilgerran man has been ordered to carry out 70 hours of unpaid work during the next 12 months after he admitted possessing herbal cannabis.
David William McDonald, of Rhyd y Mul, appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates to plead guilty to a charge of possessing 3.4 grammes of the Class B drug at Blaenannech on May 22.
The 41-year-old was also ordered to pay £85 towards court costs and a further £85 victim surcharge.
