The case against a 28-year-old Llechryd woman accused of assaulting a police officer and damaging the officer’s electronic communications ear-piece has been adjourned by magistrates.
Sarah Lewis-Moane, of Preseli View, had been due to appear before Aberystwuth magistrates last Wednesday accused of assaulting PC 473 Davies during an incident in Llechryd on April 27.
Lewis-Moane is also accused of damaging a police-issue Sepura Acoustic Tube listening-only earpiece worth £8 during the same incident.
She also faces a third charge of using threatening or abusive words and behaviour during the incident.
Magistrates heard that Lewis-Moane had been unable to attend the court and agreed to adjourn the hearing until Wednesday, October 10.
