DRIVERS travelling into Cardigan this morning (Wednesday September 19) faced delays after the strong winds – part of Storm Ali – brought down a tree on the hill down into the town just off the Ridegway roundabout.
A tree down has also come down in a housing estate at Maes Hafren, Eglwyswrw.
A yellow alert Met Office warning is currently in place for wind, but the wind is expected to drop away during the course of the afternoon.
A further warning for heavy rain and gales is in place for tomorrow.
