A DRUG-driver caught near Llandysul has been banned from the roads for 12 months and fined.
David Robert Baker, of Bro Einon, Llanbydder, was stopped by police on the A486 at Pontweli on March 31. He tested positive for cannabis with 2.5microgrammes in 100 millilitres of blood, with the legal limit two microgrammes.
The 34-year-old pleaded guilty when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre and was handed a 12-month driving ban.
Baker was also fined £220, along with £85 prosecution costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
