AN arrest warrant issued for a driver who failed to appear in court has been withdrawn after he produced medical evidence as to why he failed to attend a hearing.
Marco Rustic, of Coopers Road, Birmingham, had previously entered guilty pleas to driving a car while disqualified on Gwbert Road, Cardigan on October 30 last year and to driving without insurance.
Charges of causing criminal damage to a car window and using threatening words and behaviour were dropped.
The 21-year-old had failed to attend Aberystwyth Justice Centre when his case came back before magistrates and the bench issued an arrest warrant but that has now been withdrawn.
Ristic has been remanded on unconditional bail to appear before Birmingham and Solihull Magistrates’ Court for sentence on May 16.
