CARDIGAN lifeboat was called out yesterday morning (Tuesday, March 6) to rescue a fishing vessel in trouble.
The RNLI station received a call from the Coastguard at 9.05am to help an 18ft fishing boat off Poppit, near Cardigan Island, which had run into engine trouble.
The Atlantic-series lifeboat was launched and towed the stricken fishing boat back to a safe mooring at Patch, returning to the station by 10am.
