A FERWIG woman is due to re-appear before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre accused of stealing more than £16,000 from Cylch Meithrin Penparc.
Catrin Davies, aged 32, of Bwthyn Lleine, Ferwig, Cardigan, faces a charge that between September 1, 2015 and December 31, 2016, she committed fraud while volunteer treasurer at Cylch Meithrin Penparc and dishonestly abused that position to make £16,336.58 for herself.
She was remanded on unconditional bail when she originally appeared before magistrates and is scheduled to be back in court on Wednesday, September 20. No plea has yet been entered.
