Penparc’s Alissa Elsaesser completed the British London 10K race over the weekend.
Alissa who has Down’s Syndrome completed the race in true style and even beat her dad to the finish line.
She has now well surpassed her targets of raising £1000 and has now managed to raise over £2000 for the Carmarthen based charity Cerebra.
Cerebra is a national charity that is based in Carmarthen and supports children with neurological conditions and their families.
A spokesperson from Cerebra has said that everyone at Cerebra is very proud of Alissa and her achievement.
