The Aberteifi Embroidery Group embarked on a communal patchwork project in April to make a double sized quilt, a baby quilt, a cushion and a teddy bear to be raffled in aid of Air Ambulance Wales.
The 14 members each undertook a panel to make for the centre of each quilt and then worked together on the borders, ready for assembly and quilting. The raffle took place at a coffee morning in the Tabernacle Vestry in Cardigan on December 18. The lucky quilt winners were Brian Lee and Karl Davies.
The total raised was £2,246.00 and the group would like to thank all those that supported the project and bought raffle tickets.
