The County Council recently completed work to repair the Wales Coast Path between Llangrannog and Cwmtudu which was closed due to a major landslide.
The new path has been created over recent weeks by local contractor Robert Williams, and was supported by Welsh Government funding as part of the development of the Wales Coast Path.
A Cardiff Business School report in 2012 found that the Wales Coast Path attracted nearly three million visitors over a 12 month period and added £32 million to the Welsh economy.
A spokesman from Ceredigion County Council said: "We are pleased to have repaired this important section of the coast path, we had received several compliments from members of the public who had enjoyed walking this section so it was important to re-open it once again. The Wales Coast Path is internationally recognised, and it’s no wonder when you experience this section of the walk in Ceredigion. Thanks are due to the landowners and to all those involved in the work in particular the contribution made by volunteers."
