Winners in the 19th Newcastle Emlyn and Adpar in Bloom Competition were awarded their certificates and shields at a ceremony at Ty Nest, Gwesty'r Emlyn Hotel on Thursday evening 4th of September 2014. The event organised by Roger Spenser of Trefhedyn Garden Centre ably aided by Owen Hesford saw the winners accept their certificates and awards from the present Town Mayor, Cllr. Gareth Williams.The garden judge this year was Mair Davies.

The “Best Garden in Town” shield was won by John Jones of 73, Derwen Gardens, Adpar.
