A former Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi pupil has been crowned bilingual student of the year, after completing a Level 3 Childcare and Education Diploma at Pembrokeshire College.
Ffion Delve was presented with The Bilingual Student of the Year Award, at a Graduation and Awards ceremony, held at St.Davids' Cathedral on July 4.
She was presented with a certificate and prize by Nigel Hearne, Vice President if the Appalachia Michigan Business Unit Chevron, her prize of £50 was sponsored by Menter Iaith Sir Benfro.
From approximately 13,000 students, Ffion was chosen for her award following completion of her work placements, in numerous work settings using the Welsh language, she was also praised for representing the college at the 2013 Urdd Eisteddfod, and for assisting other students to use Welsh in their work.
