Fishguard RNLI's all-weather lifeboat was despatched to Carreg Wasteg to a 20 foot fishing boat, with two crew members, suffering engine problems on Wednesday.
The lifeboat launched at 1.30pm on a fine and calm afternoon after the fishing boat had made contact with HM Coastguard regarding its overheating engine problem.
On arrival at the scene the lifeboat volunteer crew took the fishing boat under tow for the short journey back to Fishguard harbour, arriving back at 2.15pm where the fishing boat's problem was rectified.
