Celebrity wildlife gardener and author, Jenny Steel, will be giving advice on how to transform your garden into a wildlife haven to attract pollinators and birds.
This talk is part of a family-friendly day of activities on Saturday, May 17th at Hermon Community Centre, near Crymych.
You can have a go at making a pedal-powered smoothie, learn to make something from wood or willow, or ‘upcycle’ something old into something new. Bring a plant to swap and browse the local market stalls for handmade cosmetics, honey, gifts and delicious things to eat.
Other speakers will talk about local food production and community energy projects.
The all-day event starts at 10 am and will launch the 2014 “Buzzing about Pembrokeshire” programme of summer activities, celebrating the way communities are looking after their local environment.
Entry and activities are free and a café will offer refreshments and lunches during the day.
The event is coordinated by community-led local development organisation, PLANED.
