Ceredigion MP Mark Williams visited Coleg Ceredigion on Friday to sit in a tutorial on money and financial responsibility as part of Barclays Money Week.
Barclays held seminars with Coleg Ceredigion as part of Money Week, on issues such as contracts, financial commitments, budgeting and a guess the price competition - comparing the difference between prices of shopping baskets of branded and non-branded products.
The products used for the competition will be donated to the local food bank now that the competition is over.
Mr said: "It was excellent to see Coleg Ceredigion working very proactively on the issue of financial education. I enjoyed participating in a seminar with students, focusing on contracts and financial management issues. Barclays Bank and Coleg Ceredigion are to be commended, early financial education throughout the entire education system is essential."
