Celebrations took place in libraries and schools across Pembrokeshire to mark World Book Day.
World Book Day on March 6 celebrates the joy of reading, and aims to fire a child’s imagination and promote language skills from an early age.
School pupils dressed up as characters from their favourite books, enjoyed storytelling sessions, talks from writers about their work, and much more.
As part of the celebrations, Peppa Pig, popular children’s book and TV character, spent the day visiting libraries across Pembrokeshire.
She started at Fishguard Library’s World Book Day Party, where she joined around 30 children for a morning of songs and rhymes.
