HOT from her sell-out Edinburgh Fringe Festival dates, impressionist Jan Ravens is heading for Cardigan.
She brings her uncanny and hilarious impersonations of politics’ leading ladies to life in Difficult Woman, alongside a very touching tribute to the late Victoria Wood at the town’s Theatr Mwldan on Saturday, October 21 at 8pm.
This is the age of the fifty-something woman! Ravens is set to delight audiences with her spot-on impressions and political stamp on the world as she takes to the road with her brand new tour, mixing the current political climate with her own personal journey as a Difficult Woman .
Jan is the star of BBC Radio 4's Dead Ringers with favourite characters including Theresa May, Diane Abbott, Lyse Doucet and Fiona Bruce.
She has been seen on, and contributed across the satirical spectrum on shows such as Spitting Image, Newsnight, The Daily Politics, Mock the Week, QI, Question Time, Today and PM.
“A consummate impressionist,” says The Times, while the Daily Telegraph describe her as: “Modern, topical, with a fresh satirical twist.”
Tickets for Jan Ravens are £15 and £14 (concessions) and are available now from Theatr Mwldan’s box office on 01239 621200, online at www.mwldan.co.uk or via the new Mwldan app.
