Mark Steel will be visiting the Queens Hall, Narberth, on his latest tour, Mark Steel’s back in town, on October 3.

A formidable figure both in stand-up comedy, radio, television broadcasting and commentary, Mark Steel has 30 years of experience behind him.

As well as a BBC TV and radio series, televised lectures and panel show appearances including; Question Time; Have I Got News For You; Never Mind the Buzzcocks; Room 101 to name a few. Mark Steel’s current BBC Radio 4 programme Mark Steel’s Back in Town, is set to follow the success of the acclaimed series Mark Steel’s in town. A series that has received a double Sony Award, as well as and a Writer’s Guild Award.

Mark Steel’s Back in Town sees him visit towns and cities across the UK, winding an entertaining path through their inner lives and histories. A unique twist on Britain’s local history, Mark Steel’s razor sharp wit, honesty and opinionated manner is both educational and extremely entertaining. He recently recorded a show from St David’s Cathedral.

Having previously provoked a whole page of fury in the Daily Express following his series ‘The Mark Steel Solution’, as well as regular speeches at demonstrations, union meetings and protests, Mark Steel’s work is anything but dull.
